Summer care for your
dogs and cats:
It is flea and tick season
and you need to know two things:
Prevention. Keeping
your lawn mowed and your carpets vacuumed turns off fleas and
ticks. Remove wet leaves, piles of lawn clippings and debris
around your porch and perimeter of your house. Keep your dog
and cat's bed washed weekly. Also keep your dog and cat bathed,
brushed and combed.
Treatment. Their
are several good flea and tick preventives on the market now.
If you are not sure which to use on your cat or dog ask your
veterinarian or pet store .
